This is my 2nd Quickstep, it handles all the conditions I encounter, I'm no pro but up to head height I'm in my element.
I bought my 9.2 Quickstep for bigger days when I have been finding my 9'6 Saunton Foil a bit of a handful. Works perfectly.
I can steer my 9'0 quite easily even from the middle of the board
The Quickstep is named after the pronounced step deck in the tail that promotes flex and therefore tighter turns. Performance wise the front end of the board is traditional for nose riding and cruise, combined with a step deck tail, and a 2 + 1 fin set up for fast responsive turns. The Quickstep sits in the middle of our longboard range, in between a traditional and performance longboard. It is very popular board in the Gulf Stream surfboard collection especially with surfers who don’t want to go the whole hog to an out and out nose rider or lose all the cruise that performance longboards don’t usually benefit from.
