Dr Martin Webb

Dr. Martin Webb and his new board picked up from the factory yesterday....
Martin is off to France in a couple of weeks and decided to treat himself to a new stick, something that would do him proud in those grinding French beaches... The result is this beautiful 6'4" stickleback, complete with 5 fin set up, single wingers, rounded pin tail, and a rich, golden yellow tint to die for.
Ooh la la....

Hiya, Back from France, turned up in Biarritz just in time for the Hurricane Katia swell (10.5 feet @ 15 seconds - Uh Oh!)and spent the next few days seeking shelter. In between duck-diving deep and occasionally getting whacked by board, fins, beach and parts of my own body I rode the new board at the point at Lafitenia, the beachbreak at Messanges (when things had calmed down a bit), and further south at Laga in the Basque country. Felt like a good shape for the big point break with the volume and glide. It handled the beachies well with three fins in, although a low tide session at Messanges was too hectic ending up with dings in the board and me. Then a final day of onshore headhigh mush at Laga in crazy coloured water, smoky green with electric blue highlights. It went well with four fins in the mush, nice drive in the clean sections. So a wicked all round board to handle a busy week. Cheers guys! Martin
